In view of the ongoing critical situation regarding COVID-19 and its mutants, the organizer on-site, the Court of Audit of Hesse, and the EURORAI General Secretariat, after consulting the EURORAI Management Committee, have jointly decided to postpone the seminar originally planned for May 2020, in the meantime postponed to May 2021, until May 2022. 

The exact date has not yet been determined, but will be announced shortly.

The General Secretariat of EURORAI would like to know about the impact of COVID-19pandemic on the member institutions of the Association. To this end, it has prepared a brief questionnaire, which can be downloaded here.

In response to the invitation of the National Audit Office of Lithuania, who chairs the EUROSAI Task Force on Municipality Audit (EUROSAI TFMA) since its creation in 2016, Edgar Thinnes, Head of the General Secretariat of EURORAI, took part as observer in the 4^th Annual Meeting of the EUROSAI TFMA members which was held remotely on 19 November 2020.

The EURORAI Management Committee has unanimously approved the proposal made by the General Secretariat to exempt all member institutions from the payment of the membership fee for this year. This is mainly due to the fact that because of the international situation concerning the corona virus, EURORAI has not been able to carry out the two activities which were planned for 2020, that is to say, the seminars in Frankfurt/Main and Sarajevo. 

Since October 2017, when a EURORAI delegation took part as observer in the 1^st EUROSAI TFMA Seminar and the 1^st annual meeting of EUROSAI TFMA members held in Riga, EURORAI has participated in the activities performed by the EUROSAI Task Force on Municipality Audit.

For security reasons, the EURORAI General Secretariat has been forced to close the Association's current website and already launch the new one. We are still adapting the design of the new site and migrating the content from the old one. We will make the correspondent announcement when the new website is fully operational.
