Brief report including the most significant decisions
Representatives of 37 EURORAI member institutions attended the General Assembly held last 3rd October in Geneva within the framework of the XII EURORAI Congress.
The following agreements were adopted unanimously during the Assembly:
1. Appointment of the Audit Office of Galicia as auditor of EURORAI's annual accounts for a three-year term
2. Confirmation of the joining of new members:
- Court of Audit of Saarland
- Control and Audit Office of the city of Alytus
- Office of the Tynwald Auditor General
3. Appointment of the new President and the other members of the Management Committee as well as their respective substitutes.
Furthermore, the General Assembly took note of the audit report on EURORAI's accounts for the last three years as well as of the fact that there are at present no outstanding membership fees from previous years. The Assembly took also note of the withdrawal from EURORAI of two member institutions of the Association, the Court of Audit of Rotterdam and the Regional Chamber of Audit in Kraków.
Subsequently, in his official inaugural address President Charles Pict presented the EURORAI working programme for the next three years. The General Assembly took note of the programme and approved the draft budget for the years 2026-2028.
Finally, the Assembly gave farewell to the outgoing member of the Management Committee Walter Wallmann, who is leaving EURORAI and thanked him for all his services rendered since his first participation in a EURORAI event.
